Donna Marzia 2010 Negramaro Salento IGT
This 100 % Negramaro from Puglia is aged for 12 months in large oak barrels and an intense ruby red in colour. Fresh red berry fruit with hints of spice abound on the nose whilst the palate is soft and fruity with ripe tannins. It is rich with excellent structure and capable of ageing for a further 3-5 years. A perfect companion for grilled red meats and ripe cheeses.

Conti Zecca's history goes back to the 16th century, and over 500 years later consistent Gamberro Rosso Three Glass (Italy’s top wine accolade) awards confirm this Leverano based property as one of the best in Italy. The high quality can be found in wines throughout the excellent range, which includes the great value for money Donna Marzia wines, which are delicious, perfectly made (and have a striking label).
