A delicious blend of Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, with red and black cherries on the nose and palate, followed by a long, full-bodied and attractive finish. Ready for drinking now ( you may wish to try it decanted) and over the next two or three years. Personality:seductive; likes to meet, roast beef, other meats.
The production is in the capable hands of brothers Remo and Ernesto Sportoletti; their wines display wonderful concentration and are equally celebrated by traditionalist and modern critics. Robert Parker: 'The estate's Assisi Rosso is often one of Italy's top values.'

This IGT Salento Primitivo is a serious wine, which spends 12 months in 3,000 litre oak barrels. It is approachable, full-bodied with sweet spices and rich texture. Perfect with red meats and stews.
From the 'home' of Malbec in SW France, with a delicious dark fruit character and drinking well now, the tannins of this lovely example from Cahors mean that it will also age well and you may prefer it after decanting.
Deep ruby in colour, this Malbec releases aromas of ripe red berries, spice and black p! epper. Its intense initial taste is complemented by the soft sweetness of its tannins. As befits a Reserva wine, it has great body and structure.
This crisp Chenin Blanc is in true Cederberg style, showing a powerful nose of tropical melon, grapefruit and lemon peel. Five months of lees contact have created a mouth-tingling crispness with a lingering finish. Great with food. Unquestionably one of the most successful examples of its type in the Cape.
